Growing up in rural Louisiana I was able to observe the use of many of the “antiques” by my grandparents and relatives. Many of the decorating ideas are inspired by combining these pieces with a cottage theme style and creating a unique scene or screenplay. You can view some of my inspirations and read about some of my thoughts in the spring 2005 issue of Cottage Style magazine which will be on the newsstands March 1st. One of my favorite suggestions from the article is about change. “Change is good – move the furniture, take down the curtains, trade artwork with your friends. Preserve and recycle where you live should make you feel wonderful.”

Many of the pillows we produce are made from vintage fabric and can be custom made to your specifications. Much like the theme decoration in a room, a unique pocket pillow can be produced to fit an occasion, event, or person. A sample of our pocket pillows was shown in the “Seen and Noted” section of the September 2001 issue of Country Home magazine. About the same time the Houston Chronicle featured the pillows in the Home Living section. Also the Kilgore New Herald (our local newspaper) did a front page article on our “cottage style” of decorating featuring our home.
